This innovative tool allows the user to watch a map and its associated data change over the course of time. The 4D Map Player enriches map functionality allowing for a more meaningful spatial and temporal analysis of its contents.

The purpose of this map is to showcase livestock development projects in Aceh Province, Indonesia. There are four separate tools to manipulate the data on this map including 'Analysis', 'Projects' and 'Date Control' tools as well as a Project Timeline Player.
- The Analysis Tool allows the user to filter sectors and project types as well as view bar graphs that demonstrate achievement toward overall goals.
- The Projects Tool allows users to select and view details of a specific project. A project can also be viewed by clicking on the map marker.
- The Date Control Tool is used to specify the dates (or reporting quarter) presented on the map. Only projects implemented within the specified time period are viewable.
- The Project Timeline Player located at the bottom of the map application is used to analyze implementation and impact of projects over time. Press the play button and you'll notice the bar graphs from the Analysis Tool change over time as new projects appear on the map.
